Let me be the 1st to welcome WVU to The 40 Acres. Tell Dana we're waiting on him and we've seen his act before.

No seriously, I can't wait. Hope it's a good game and I'm surprised College Game Day isn't going to be in Austin.
No double entendre there, .. only talking Super Bowls.

How convenient for Dana to go to a school with Geno and Tavon already there, ... yes? Now, if he can only recruit guys that good.

I have heard that Game Day will be in Morgantown when OU comes in.

The refs could have ruled it a fumble with no clear recovery therefore giving Texas the ball at the one foot line. Texas would have still been in a good position to win. I can understand since there was no shot straight down the goal line for them saying it was inconclusive.

I don't understand how they didn't overturn the kickoff out of bounds. That clearly hit the OSU players hand. Maybe the ref thought the football had JFK assassination magic bullet qualities and could redirect itself in mid-air.

Have this game taped and I watched that fumble for over an hour (no BS) and I could not see any angle that showed if the ball came out before or after the goal line. I could also not see any replay that showed what happened to the ball once it came out. The only thing you could see was number eight, reaching in to grab the ball after the ref had blown the whistle and the ref looking down and him shaking his head.

The one with the best angle for that play was the Ref standing right over the ball and #8 in the endzone.

Good game thou. Great game in fact.

That was some poor tackling on the part of the Horns. I was thrilled the Horns could pull this game out really enjoy seeing Ash grow into a quality QB.

I was thrilled when SS Adrian Phillips went to the sidelines after his 2nd patented "bump and bounce off tackle" tweaked his shoulder.

Good gawd dude! Could you try extending at least ONE arm maybe when you go in for a tackle?

I agree. You don't just don't throw a shoulder you hit and wrap up. In the end throwing his shoulder at the runner is what got him hurt.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/...oys-mike-gundy

The Big 12's coordinator of officials "apologized profusely" to Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy for his official's botched call at the end of the Cowboys' 41-36 loss to Texas, according to a report in The Oklahoman.

Walt Anderson told Gundy that head linesman Brad Edwards signaled touchdown too soon without a proper view of the ball on the play that put the Longhorns ahead, according to the report. Texas running back Joe Bergeron fumbled, and the question was whether it happened before he crossed the goal line.

I don't really think it mattered much. Even if they had overturned the TD call, I believe it still would have been a Texas ball on the 1. I don't know.

Big 12 disputes newspaper report

The Big 12 is disputing a newspaper report that its coordinator of officials "apologized profusely" to Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy following a blown call in Saturday's 41-36 loss to Texas.

"Reports that the Big 12 acknowledged a blown call and issued an apology to Oklahoma State are inaccurate," the Big 12 tweeted on Wednesday.

they should apologize to UT as well if that is the case for the magic ball that can not only change trajectory in mid air but also directional spin.

It is not the waitress's fault!

that was a bad call but it actually helped because Okiestate needed less time to score which gave us more time at the end.

I don't know how anyone can watch the TD play and not think that Berg fumbled before going across the goal line. Now whether they could overturn the TD call or whatever is a different story, but he did fumble that ball.
