Star How much can we spend on FAs next year?

Since we spent $50 Mil on Carr and another $30 Mil on Livings/Bernadeau, does that mean we can spend $80 Mil in next years Free
Agency? That seems like enough money to get at least two immediate elite starters, which should have been the case this year if Team knew how to evaluate players. Not sure if Salary Cap will allow Team to spend this kind of money.

Let's throw around what we could/should do with that $80 Mil next year.

Targets(For Me)--1 Off. Lineman-C/G/T(one of top three available)

1 Def. Front Seven--DE/DT/NT/OLB( top line player)

There are other positions we will need but I felt, for me, the above positions were the most critical. You may see it differently, please advise your positions you would target with this FA money.

The better we do in FA the easier/better it will be in the 2013 draft. Again I think a team should always target their draft to get two immediate starters or very close to starting back ups. I know this is easier said then done.

This isn't Madden but the above additions could very possibly/easily be done. Four new starters through FA and Draft plus other draftees, other free agents, trades,UDFAs and we have a much improved team with out going crazy.

Your thoughts.

Do you have any idea how variable that figure is? Its week 6!!!! Enough with the offseason threads!!

This is Tony Romo's team. If you don't like him, find another team.
