Sounds a little fishy to me. Dude knows his spot isn't safe for long, I'm not sure if Dallas is on the hook for anything if they cut him because he was signed after the season started but just doesn't sound too legit in my opinion.

Moorman wouldn't fake anything....too classy. PLUS, he hurt himself in practice.

He has never missed a game in his career - starting his 12th season...

But, if HE says that he's injured - he's injured.
He has nothing to gain by lying about it....just a lot to lose.
