Dez has two measly 100-yard games in his career, and one of them was last week, which was one of his worst games to date with three drops and misread that led to a pick-six.

LOL what? Cruz didn't even play in the 2010 season and he has 200 more yards than Dez, 1 less TD, averages over 3 yards per reception more. How many 60+ yard games does Cruz have? 14 Dez? 16. So you are comparing 2.25 seasons from Dez as a starter to 1.25 seasons from Cruz.

Dez has been an abject failure and embarassment on multiple levels. As it stands, he is a monumental bust given the kind of impact the team needed in the first round of that draft.

He doesn't deserve to mentioned with real NFL receivers like Johnson and Cruz.

Keep in mind also he missed a year of football before coming here so he was behind other wr's coming out. He will be fine, FIX THE LINE and get some real coaches and he will be great!

I don't think you can really judge Dez until our offense isn't constantly one dimensional/predictable. Can't really maximize his potential against man coverage or take advantage of play action when no defense respects your run game.

In the passing games defense, when your offense poses absolutely no threat to move the ball on the ground - defenses have you playing right into their hands in long down and distance situations. Forcing your QB to throw the ball in tight windows, forcing your receivers to routinely see 7 and 8 guys in coverage. Makes everyone's job that much harder with no balance.

Throw in the penalties and miserable o-line play, it's amazing they're able to move the ball as well as they do.
