Default Where does Sean Lee rank out of ILBs?

I would say top 3. Willis & Bowman are about the only two that are playing at his level right now. Beason and Cushing are arguable aswell.

Very. I would put him below that Cushing/Beason level though.

Well those others might be close to him in playing ability but none of them are close to him in terms of looking like Johnny from the Original Karate Kid movie.

Ok. I admit it, I got nothing right now.

Beason is technically a MLB and is a superior player to Lee nonetheless.

London Fletcher? Ray Lewis? Timmons? Bowman? Willis?

There are a ton of good LBers in the league, and Sean Lee is one of them. But let's not get crazy here. He's one of my favorite players and I wouldn't want to trade the guy, but he's not top in the league at his position-- not even top 3.

By the end of next year it wouldn't surprise me to see Bruce Carter surpass Lee.

Please, guys. Watch more football without blinders.

There isn't one ILB that is playing better than him right now. You are way off here.
At that moment a voice came over me and said, Look up, get up, and don't ever give up. You tell everyone or anyone that has ever doubted, thought they did not measure up or wanted to quit, you tell them to look up, get up and don't ever give up. - Michael Irvin

I think Lee is a good player, but I still say it's a bit early to break out the top 5 annointing oil. Please keep in mind that Bradie James was the leading tackler for this team for many years, and it wasn't because he was one of the best in the league. In the 3-4 scheme, by design, the MLB will generally be the leading tackler of the team.
