We mentioned OL Robert T. Griffin would be in for a workout today w/Cowboys, but so too is former #Baylor football player CB-Mikail Baker.

Charlie Peprah, who was not among the Cowboys’ tryouts two weeks ago when they signed Eric Frampton, is the most accomplished safety on hand after spending two stints with Green Bay. The other defensive backs include: Morgan Trent, Kevin Thomas, Reggie Jones, Rod Issac, Vincent Agnew, Larry Asante, Gerald Alexander and Mikail Baker.
Quarterback Nick Stephens, who played high school at Flower Mound before attending Tennessee and Tarleton State, will work out as well. He went to camp this summer with the Tennessee Titans. Tight end Fendi Onubun and wide receiver John Haggerty round out the group.

Griffin was a considered a good prospect at one time. He might be better than the linemen currently on the PS. He is worth the look.

I really liked them when they were in Credence.

He plays RT too.
EDIT: I believe he played RT his junior year before moving to RG his senior year.

I think when you talk to other people that really play the quarterback position, there's a few guys that really have incredible greatness in them, and Tony is one of them. I think the issue here is he needs more help from his teammates. I think they are not nearly as talented as people say they are, from 1 to 53. I'm talking about the total roster.”

Let me get this straight. He was a 6th round pick for the Jets in this last draft (2012)? So, why did he not make the Jets' roster?
I searched but cvan't find anything on why he was cut. Everything I read says they drafted him to be a backup, so it's not like they cut him because he could not start.
Anyone with any info - please share (you too Spags LOL).
