Bye Free and Bernadeau.
Bye Austin and Ogletree.
Bye Sensy and McCray.
Bye Garrett.

I can't sink this loss on Romo completely. These horrible performances are because of poor prepareness between the QB and receiver corp. I see more mistakes of route running by receivers on this team than any other. Plus the intelligence of the receivers on making infield adjustments adhok is disgraceful. Example, on way play Romo was scramling towards the sideline and motioned the receiver to start running straight up field which would have resulted in a big play. Instead the receiver just keeps running the shallow crossing pattern toward the sideline until he was squeezed against the sideline and the DB closing in.
There is no doubt that Romo needs better receivers. WRs that will fight for the ball at all costs.

What are you talking about? I've always said that Eli was a terrific quarterback, but also had the superior supporting cast between him and Romo.

Oh you think my posts are silly? Forgive me if I don't care what some random guy on the Internet who doesn't have an ounce of credibility thinks about my posts.

Vince Young had a quarterback rating of nearly 100 in 2010 do you think he was an elite quarterback that year? Of course he wasn't. He's average at best. QB rating is a horrible stat to use for the basis of your argument.

When Austin ran too far inside and allow himself to be sandwiched between CB and S, the play was doomed. Bad route running.

I don't believe that's correct. Austin had the inside on his defender, giving Romo a window to make a precision throw to him. Romo threw a jump ball, and possibly because of the safety, threw it back to the outside, which gave the corner leverage to make the play.
I have a hard time believing that route was wrong considering the throw. If it had been a precision throw to the outside, then clearly there would have been some miscommunication. Romo wanted to give his receiver a chance to catch the ball, and probably put it where he thought Austin would have a shot at it, but it ended up giving better positioning to the corner.
Unless Austin or Garrett comes out and says the wrong route was ran, I've got to put that one on Romo.

Romo isn't leaving this team for another five years at least or whenever he retires. Sure I'll be sad when he hangs it up because we'll be losing a great player, but I'll always be a Cowboys fan.

So you don't know what his career QB rating is? He played half a season in 2010, lol.

What are you talking about? I just told you what his QB rating for the games he played in 2010. Answer the damn question. Was Young an elite quarterback because of his passer rating?

That's difficult to answer. I think when you look at his body of work, it's easy to see that this is an aberration. But the problem is you can't just ignore what's happening this year, even if all of the interceptions are not his fault.
I would probably be inclined to give him the franchise tag and see if he returns to normal next year. It would be hard to commit long-term based on the numbers he has right now for this season.
The sad thing about it is if Romo (and the receiving corps) was playing like he did last year, with the improved defensive effort, Dallas would likely be a contender. (I say likely because we still weren't a great scoring offense last year ... but the lack of turnovers would certainly help.)

Well your question is a bit retarded, but in the half a season he did play that year, he completed 60 percent of his passes with over 8 ypa, and threw 10 TD's to 3 INT's.
So yea i'd say he played very well in those games..
