I don't see how anyone in their right mind can put that INT on Romo.
You give your WR chances to make plays on the ball with those throws that can add up to chunks of yards. That was just terribly played by Austin.
Stats lie sometimes. Romo is playing much better than his numbers indicate. Point blank.

I don't mind the decision to throw that ball up for grabs. You expect your WR to make plays for you sometimes.
But...That was a bad throw. Let's just call it how it is. Miles Austin did what he could.

Haven't seen anyone mention that Austin is still running towards the sideline when Romo starts to throw the ball. The hips are not upfield yet.
That's the first frame of Romo's throwing motion. I should have included the entire throwing motion, but I'm off to other things.

Something doesn't feel right about that entire play. Seems like either Austin should've been closer to the sideline, or the throw should be to the inside, and he would have to fight with the Safety coming over.
Just too much room left on the sideline, either way, Austin never even jumped I don't think.

I don't like the route combination at all. So much real estate to work with in the middle of the field.

That was a clear PI, hadn't seen that angle. There was no way Miles could make a play on that ball with that push off at the last second.

That's what I was saying. Miles didn't run a great route, but there is no way those blaming him because he didn't make a play on the ball could have seen this angle.

I don't know what I'm missing, but I don't see PI, and I still think this just looks like bad ball placement by Tony.
I get the read and the decision to throw it to Miles there, but he sure didn't put him in a good position to make a play on that ball.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

I don't understand why there is not more separation between Miles and Dez.

Austin allowed Webster to keep him away from the sideline. Knowing how notorious Romo is for slightly underthrowing deep balls, Austin should've stopped for a second to let Webster go by. OK pass. Sloppy, lazy route. I don't think it was PI. Just a hand on the back. Austin fell down twisting around to look for the ball.

I don't see it either. Looks like Miles just got turned around and made a poor attempt on the ball. That whole play was just "off"
Everyone has a plan, until they get hit.
