ESPND:Cowboys set to work out linebackers

IRVING, Texas – With the availability of Dan Connor and Orie Lemon in question for Sunday against Philadelphia because of injuries, the Cowboys will work out veteran linebackers Gary Guyton and Brady Poppinga on Tuesday.

Connor did not play against Atlanta because of a stinger suffered the previous week and was expected to miss two games, although a checkup on Monday went well. Lemon suffered a hamstring injury against Atlanta and will not play this week.

Not sure how I feel about Gary Guyton having blue and red streaks in his hair.

I liked him at GT though.

I wonder if this is to try to replace Sims or Albright...or just get a bit more depth.

Well they said that Sims and Conner and questionable so it looks like it is for depth.

Actually they said Lemon and Conner were questionable, but I agree with you that it looks like this is for depth. Sims has played okay for the most part IMO.
