"In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular-season home game that was such a disappointment for myself and fans of the Titans," said Adams. "We were grossly outcoached and outplayed from start to finish today. At this time, all aspects of the organization will be closely evaluated, including front office, coaches, and players over the next seven games. If performance and competitiveness does not improve, I will look at all alternatives to get back to having the Titans become a playoff and championship football team."
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I also hate how we've been average for so many years, and when we were bad in the early 2000's we drafted horribly. Jerry needs to step up and hire a GM, and he can handle the PR and Marketing and still be the face of the franchise but leave the team management to someone else.
Bud is one of the worse owners in football. He is all lip service he is cheap, meddlesome owner . You think Jerry is bad at getting in the way. Bud has a GM but he over rules the GM at times. See the VY drafting and other things. A GM does not prevent what is happening in Dallas. Case in point Bud and add to that he is cheap cheap cheap.
"It is the duty of the patriot to protect his country from his government." Thomas Paine
Yeah, ya don't want a owner saying that to the gen pop. Show the signs of a bad franchise.
I agree. There's almost never a need for a display of public dysfunction. Just support your team as long as everyone's doing their best, and make sweeping changes in the offseason.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee
