I'll concede Jimmy had his faults

He has a real ego that prevents him from FAIL for 16 seasons and counting.

Remember, for those who have forgotten, Jimmy the great, he did not want QB Troy as the QB, he wanted QB Walsh from Miami as his QB, and Jimmy the great, he did not want RB Emmitt, he said he was to small and slow, he wanted to draft a LB that was drafted just ahead of his pick, ahead of him and Jimmy had to be talked into taking Emmitt.

You don't think Belechick uses some element of fear to run his team? All leaders regardless of the indusrty use the "fear of replacement" to keep their people motivated. Without that element individuals start to feel that they are entitled to what they have rather than having earned it.

Regardless of Jimmy's method, I loved his results. Jason and Jerry, not so much. As it stands now, Jerry will NEVER be in another SB let alone win one. Unfortunately, time is slowly but surely bearing that out.
3 realities that are hard to face:
1. My kid is stupid
2. I married the wrong person
3. My team sucks

Can you elaborate some more where you heard this? I thought I heard or read that Jimmy was being looked at by some other NFL teams before he was hired by Jerry.

He was. He made it up since it sounds good and strengthens his fan spin agenda.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

Amazing how over the years the facts and history change to fin into people's opinions, agendas and theories. Only on CZ would someone knock down Jimmy Johnson to prop up Jerry. It's sad, really. But people have been sanitized to believe that coaches don't matter because they've been marginalized under Jerry, with the exception of BP.

As for FEAR people feared Jimmy he treated his players bad, yes some of them love him and he had his favorites but Jimmy treated the players very bad and was very hard on them, he even admits this now, he even left Troy and Micheal at the airport, jimmy even admits this today in interviews,

All I know is Jimmy put a SB team on the field his final 2 years here and it was a team(s) that most of us are still proud of......since then...not so much...

I agree that because of the change in the game and the cap and everything that you cannot rule soley by fear anymore.

But a smart coach can figure ways to get the point across. Coughlin was a real hard line old time coach in the BP mode and it almost got him fired. He learned to tread something of a middle ground from where he had been and that has gotten him 2 rings.

For this team a coach that can discipline is almost an absolute must have. Unfortunately that is not Red Ball.

Now whether that is because its not in him or Jerruh will not let him do it or a combination; does not matter because for all the claims by his worshippers that there is a different culture in place I see no signs of it on the field.

The Truth is Mr. Jones has ruined a once proud franchise. That is the only truth that matter.

If you're trying to get fans to root against Jimmy and what he did for us fans, forget it. Winners will always be elevated and losers will be stoned.

And no matter how you find ways to secretly prop up Jerry Jones, we can see it, and smell it. And you can't run from the fact that after Jimmy's talent was decimated, Jones has proven to be TRASH!

If you are 18 years old, you were sucking on a bottle the last time we won the Super Bowl. If you are 23 years old, you were an infant the last time we drafted a QB in the 1st round.

Not sure if i read this correctly, but are there those that suggest Jimmy made up the story about another team during the 1993 season?

His statement was, "why would they (thought is was the panthers but may have been the Jaguars) want to speak with Norv, when they can interview me?"
You've been weighed

You've been measured

And you've been found to be a casual fan
