I'll have to correct myself here, because we ran stack sets about a handful of times.

Its nothing new, most writers have mentioned it and Sturm writes about it regularly.
The inside routes to Miles have been there. We've had some drops, and some situations where Tony's gone elsewhere. If they've dropped off, it's because we probably don't trust the interior protection. Pressure up the middle is an invitation for a batted ball and another pick.

Against PHI, we were getting inside leverage and we had opportunities early. When they started blitzing, it limited what we wanted to do in those situations as our OTs weren't holding up.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Smith got absolutely destroyed in pass protection by Trent Cole.

During the off-season there was a thread that cautioned people from penciling in Smith at left tackle as though he would play at a probowl level. Smith is playing against better pass rushers and playing on a new side and he's struggled this year. He'll get better but for the 2012 season he's going to be below average.

Some of the problem is playing well together and recognizing stunts etc. I would love someone to look at the line and address this issue. I just don't seem to have the time right now to look at the all 22.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

I vote Callahan to do this (since he gets paid and all).

I doubt he will come on here to discuss it though.

Smith and Free struggled with the wide 9 technique because that type of alignment is designed to get the OTs to widen their pass drops and gives the rusher room to beat them inside or outside.

Smith really struggled with Cole's power and he probably felt uncomfortable being stressed so wide in his pass sets.

After the first drive the Eagles were forced to blitz to get pressure, a sign that the 4 man rush needed help. Overall in the first half the offense did a good job with balancing the game plan.

PHI committed to stopping the run in the second half and so it forced Romo to pass more early on.
