Default 4 Reasons why the Cowboys will make the playoffs and win the division

The 4 games remaining on the Giants schedule

1.Packers after the bye

2.Saints

3.Falcons

4.Ravens

With us having the weaker schedule there is a great opportunity to win the division now because all know the Giants are losing atleast 3 of those games. So if the Cowboys go 5-2 in their last 7 games they should win the division and finish at 9-7 while the Giants fall to 8-8.

I feel a lot better about our chances right now.

What makes you believe the giants will drop 3?

They play their worst football at home and with Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers coming to town I know for a fact they will lose.

And no NFC east team ever wins in Baltimore so that's another loss right there.

I see about 4 more losses maybe 5 on the Giants schedule

We wouldn't need the Giants to finish 8-8. We would have the tiebreaker if we both finish 9-7 unless the only two games we lose the rest of the season are to the Redskins and/or Eagles AND the Giants beat both of them. If at least one of our two losses comes outside the division, we'd win the tiebreaker at 9-7.

People were saying the same EXACT thing last season in November when the giants tough schedule was coming up. How did that end?

I don't care if we lose that game in Cincy because a NFC east team almost never wins there. And the fact that it's a AFC team won't matter that much.

I was about to have this long post as to why it's not possibile due to this, or that or why the tie breaker rules aren't in our favor, but they actually are. I don't think the Giants will go 8-8, and will likely go 9-7 (and finish the division 4-2). If we managed to finish 5-2, even with a division loss, we'd win the tie breaker of best record in common games (we loss to Chi/Sea, while they beat SF).

Now I haven't seen anything from this team to suggest they can finish 5-2, but if we win the next 2, I'll get my hopes up.

They have a TOUGHER SCHEDULE this December.

at Baltimore
Saints
at Atlanta
Packers

Last December that was not the case.

How are the Giants going to finish 9-7 with the Ravens, Saints, Packers, and Falcons on the schedule?

1 reason we won't. JG is our hc/oc. If 7-9 or 8-8 does it then sure I guess we could. Just don't see that happening and it really won't be to exciting making the playoffs just lose in the 1st round

Because they aren't going to lose to all of them. Name the price, they won't go 0-4 vs those 4 teams. They'll sneak 1, maybe 2 but possibily will drop one they shouldn't.

Anything can happen on any given sunday and it won't be this huge upset if the Giants beat any of these 4 or even go 3-1 in that stretch.

They went 1-4 in those games and fell behind us in the division.

No NFC East team wins in Baltimore so that's already a loss right there.

When was the last time a team from the NFC East won in Baltimore?
