Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray could miss Week 11

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones did not sound very confident that running back DeMarco Murray would be ready to play in Week 11. The team plans on evaluating him through the week as his continues to heal his sprained foot. He has already missed four games. "He is a physical running back," Jones said. "You want to be comfortable for him to make his cut. All of that has to be right before he goes out there because we got to look down the road here. We hope we are in this thing and needing him on every play as we move forward even beyond Cleveland."

I don't think there would be much more valuable than having a fresh-legged RB going down the stretch run.
Sit him against Cleveland, get him 10-15 carries against the Skins and have 10 days off before we need him the most!

Nothing like getting an update from the head head coach Jerry Jones.
Thanks, Jer!

All owners do that. Nothing to see here.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

If he can't come back after the Redskins game, he's done for the rest of the season.

We are a 4-5 team, on the outside looking in. We eked out wins against TB and Carolina, plus got blown out by Seattle. If he can't go, he can't go, but every game, including the next two, needs to be treated like the stretch run.

Just what is his injury anyway and does it have something to do with "weak connective tissue"?

Doesn't matter what game he comes back, within 3-5 carries he will hurt something else. He's more fragile then the leg light in "A Christmas Story".

He has had a couple of good games but I don't count on or revere him like many fans do. He hasn't done that much or shown that much. It won't hurt to have him back but it isn't crucial. We don't run we'll because we don't run block well. I'm also convinced that Vickers runs with his eyes closed.

I can't blame him. I don't like to watch this o-line block either.
