I'd love for you to post it. Maybe some fans would see the reality of being Romo behind this mess of a line.
Someone just did and I can't find the thread for the life of me! Looks like he might have called out "52" but Rucker (#92) is the one that got him. But 52 did jump on a pile late, so he's got that going for him.

Okay it was in overtime, and it was #53. He called him the mike, and I'm pretty sure you're supposed to block the MLB.

The other sack I had posted originally for reference:

"I just kind of stopped in the middle of a route, which is the worst thing you can do," Ogletree said. "He just told me, 'What were you thinking?' I kind of mumbled something to him and he was like, 'You're stupid.' "

Yeah, that's it...Father Time.

Romo NEEDS time, and not from this "Father Time" stuff. He needs time in the pocket. He may miss some targets at times, but when he has less than 3 seconds before all hell breaks loose and he's running for his life, what do you expect?

But your "Father Time" stuff is really stupid because Romo can still last in this league for at least another 3 or 4 years and still be somewhat the QB that he is now.

But, not to turn you post all around, but when the Cowboys and Romo are in desperation mode and they go hurry up...you can't stop the guy!

So why in the hell don't they come out swinging from minute one? That's what bugs me.

This whole team should be thankful that Romo is the QB. Give him the same time as Brady gets, and he will tear you up!

Like it or not, with the current state of our oline, our idiot receivers and our coaching staff's inability to teach anyone or manufacture any sort of a run game outside of hmmmm let's throw 5 yard outs to Witten on second down...Romo is compensating for about 10 people and a coaching staff.

Once his legs go, so does his ability to compensate. And obviously our coaching staff isn't prepared to be accountable for themselves.

Legs go quick, if we can't find a way to protect him this thread could be very appropriate.

Yup, that was bad. Pathetically bad. Romo pointed right to him and the lineman got beaten like a drum anyway. And it was Free.

Yeah that's it. How does he call the guy specifically and that happens. Like I said, I'm glad I'm not him right now.

Thanks for the vid.

I actually liked this play when Romo got jacked up. Doug Free did not help him up that time. I guess he forgot how to do that, too.

So when one side of the yin and yang coin has now morphed into accepting what is being displayed on the field and finding it something to cheer about, it makes me wonder.

Bottom line is this.

The Process means there could be more years, and that is multiple, of waiting for a return to being relevant. As Opie stumbles through his day trying to figure out his job, we watch and wait, some more patiently than others.

Rosebud? It's the sled. 3 hours of watching meaningless chatter to find out Rosebud was the name of his sled. Why take me back to that moment of misery?

1. Romo thinks beyond what he receivers can conceptualize. he is on another level therefore them not being where he expected makes sense. They don't get it.

2. Romo runs for his life. This alters his timing in his head because he has to factor in the poor line play and rush. That surely has to alter his play somewhat.

3. Father time means his age in reference to his skills and their eventual diminishment. To think this never will happen is ludicrous. He will wear down as he ages. he's 32 now. This is an individual thing and each performer has his own inner clock that decides it's time to hang them up.

Don't know that he is losing his groove, but it's possible.

4. There is something to the passes he throws that sometimes appear to be slipping. Now maybe he is trying to recall that pass just before it leaves his hand and that causes it, because he sees the WR is not going to be in position.

But in any event, he has been sketchy this season.

I want Tony to win a ring. And Witten and Bruce and Lee and Mo and Carr and Smith and Murray.

But if the team waits around for The Process, how likely is that.

But then running Garrett off extends the time until this team is good again as well.

Not that Free is at fault for letting a stunting LBer get by him but...

Did you see how Lance Dunbar ran out of the backfield without picking up anyone?

A 5 man zone blitz with a corner coming off the edge and your RB to that side runs off?

Lance Dunbar is also getting chewed out in the film room.

Something else to point out is when the QB is calling the "mike", that means he's setting the protection, or in this case resetting what was called originally.
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

I hope he donates his next paycheck to some...donation kinda way! He don't deserve it.

But, one good thing coming up is Kawasaki, and he's young and hopefully ready to help down the road. If I really look at this team...they still have some youth on their team.

There's things Garrett has to do better, no denying that. But the things you listed above aren't on him so much. He can coach these guys to be where they are supposed to be but he can't make them do it in games.

The part that gets me is if they aren't doing what they are supposed to find a way to discipline them to get it through their heads. Or simply bench them and try some one else.

Good point, I didn't notice it until you mentioned it. What a mess.

When Romo audibles, they are not sharp enough to understand where they are supposed to be because the play changed.

How frustrating do you think it is for Romo to see the play that needs to be run and then knowing he has guys that not only don't see it, but he's not sure if they really understand they are playing football half the time?
