Dwayne Harris is expected to serve as the Cowboys' No. 3 receiver versus the Redskins
Dwayne Harris is expected to serve as the Cowboys' No. 3 receiver versus the Redskins on Thanksgiving.
Kevin Ogletree has yet to practice this week after sustaining a concussion in Week 11. Harris and Cole Beasley were already beginning to eat into his snap-count. Harris isn't a fantasy option outside of deeper return-yardage leagues.

Harris has been real good. It's about time. Harris could be the new Kevin Williams

If Dwayne Harris goes out and has a productive day...there will be many of us SCREAMING. Remember how Miles played when Roy Williams got hurt? And it left ALL of us wondering how coaches and scouts could be at practice every day...and simply miss this? Not only is Roy not in Dallas anymore. Not only did he do ZERO in Dallas. He is OUT the NFL. This is not about me crying over spilled milk. This is my admission that I or many of you for that matter...simply have no REAL grasp on the politics of football. Ogletree should have never even been brought back this year. And he was....and I simply cannot understand why. Other than decent speed...he has ZERO else. Smarts? No. Route running? No. Catching the ball? No. Catching the ball in traffic? No. Physical? No. Blocking? No. Hunger/Passion? No. Just a complete zero. To see what Laurent Robinson did in half an offseason with Dallas...that sealed it for me. That proved to me there is more that goes on than we will ever understand

1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.
2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.
3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.
4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.
5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

Maybe he can be more dependable running routes and make some plays.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

Yeah, won't be too hard to out play Otree. I'm glad Harris is out there. He will be a big upgrade over Otree IMO.

And so continues the process of only replacing ineffective veterans when they get hurt.

Still think Harris would be fantastic in motion out of the backfield, and on screens, etc. Percy Harvin type role. Swing pass, bubble screen. I could go on and on. Why do the coaches not see this?

The door is open for Harris he has to go out and take advantage of the opportunity. I look forward to see him in get more playing time.
