It's foolish to think that merely committing dollars or draft picks will fix a problem. It doesn't matter what you do in the offseason, it matters what you get out of it during the regular season. Just because you overpay Orlando Scandrick, that doesn't make him play any better than a random veteran you could have signed for much cheaper. Whatever we committed to fixing the problem, it has not been enough. We're better than we were last year, but we still have a void at safety and haven't been getting enough interceptions or sacks.
