As much as I love the guy, Carter has not been good today.
Their huge passing plays are coming on play action, because of the success they've had running up the gut.

It should have, but it wasn't. But what Hall did isn't necessarily bad technique. It's part of the subtle skills of cornering. You hold, you just don't do it enough to create a stretch so the ref can see you pulling the jersey. Apparently, Hall did it the right way because the ref wasn't in position to see the tug.

Agree. If the defense never stood up the last what 10 games this scores would have been out of reach because the offense can never sustain drives and score points in the first half.
