If they lose, then they don't make the playoffs. Have to win this type of game - division matchup, very beatable opponent.

Season is over.
If we can't beat Washington we shouldn't even think of the playoffs. Thats because we will all be disappointed in the outcome. We might as be disappointed now and find out how far this team can go. Rather than go 8-8 and have a below average, mediocre draft selection - I rather see them rebuild and focus on ways to REALLY improve. Get rid of Garrett's philosophy and get rid of the dead weight, and start the rebuilding process early.

Season is basically over if we don't win today.
"I just kind of stopped in the middle of a route, which is the worst thing you can do," Ogletree said. "He just told me, 'What were you thinking?' I kind of mumbled something to him and he was like, 'You're stupid.' "
"If we can get the running game going early, that'll open up the passing game for Troy." - Jerry Jones, 11/12/12

If Dallas loses and Giant beat the Packers...its over. But I think Dallas comes out with 1 point victory and GB handle gmen rather easily.

They really need to win this one if they're going to make any real run toward the playoffs. This is one of those games you have to win on the way there.
I do agree that if the Cowboys lose today that this site won't be worth coming to for a least a week with all the crying, whinning, *****ing, and moaning that will be done.

Regardless of the outcome of this game, I don't think they Cowboys make a playoff push. They are weak up front on D and O, have no running game, and are poorly coached and managed.

Losing doesn't harm our chances for the playoffs that much really...All what it does is making NFCE title a three-horse race instead of two..
No one expects Cowboys to win out..there would be losses..but since the whole world was talking about these 3 home games considering them easy wins it's gonna be doom and gloom is we don't DOMINATE each and every one of these three games...
I am actually relaxed and going to enjoy the game, losing will make me feel bad but still it won't make me lose hope of playoffs...

Our odds are 44% to make playoffs presently and 67% with a win today and 33% with a loss. So losing cuts our odds in half which is significant. We have a 1 and 4% chance of a wildcard presently.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

even if the cowboys win today they are still a 8-8 team. i do not see this team beating steelers or saints. i think they split there last two road games.

We looking for a reason to pack the season in early, or what? If we lose, the sledding gets a lot tougher. What's the rush to be the first to publicly give up emotionally?
We had posters doing that in week 2, anyway, so anybody sticking it out until week 11 has already been wearing rosey glasses and working a sunshine pump for the last 9 weeks according to somebody.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee
