Default Cowboys and play action discussion

Why don't the Cowboys ever run play action early on in games?

Instead, on the first or second series, I usually see Romo perform a straight five or seven step drop. Wouldn't this allow defenses to tee off and not even play the run?

I understand the argument that Dallas can't run the ball, but why not run some play action EARLIER in games to help keep 8 or 9 out of the box, which would help create more running lanes for the RB's.

Just some random thoughts...
1. Brandon Magee will beat out Ernie Sims for the backup WILL/MO roster spot.

2. Ron Leary will start at right guard over Bernadeau.

3. Joseph Randle, Terrance Williams and Gavin Escobar will have more combined TD's than DeMarco Murray, Miles Austin and Jason Witten.

4. Bruce Carter makes the Pro Bowl.

5. The starting OL will be Smith-Livings-Frederick-Leary-Free

I believe we tried this against the skins first call on Thanksgiving (might be wrong), and it failed miserably.

Just look at what was the result of the PA pass in the second NYG game when Bryant didn't cross the safeties face...

But then Garrett would dial up 6 PA passes throughout the entire game, despite playing from behind to catchup.
"It's little bit like the description of pornography from years back. It's hard to define it. But you know what it is at the end of it. It's hard to define it. I think you know who is more physical. Often times you see that in the fourth quarter. A lot of time the team on the other side feels it. We pride ourselves on being a physical football team. It's important to us. It's an important time of the year to lay that foundation." - Coach Garrett

We never play action. It is unbelievable that we actually reverse play action. We play action a pass to hand it off for a run.

I've never seen anything like it. Pass fake, lead draw. We used to run it a lot and we did it fairly well. This year we have run it maybe a dozen times.

I don't get it.
