I think Murray is out for the year
Not sounding promising?
Place your bet on when Murray returns to the lineup.
I am thinking he is done for the year based upon recent reports.

I think he is done. If he doesn't play Sunday and they lose, he is done for sure, playoffs are officially done with one more loss.
Injuries and OL have wrecked this year.....always next year I guess.

Might as well go ahead and put him on IR because we aren't going to win out.

He might chip a nail and have to rehab it for 6 months, so I say he doesn't play.

if he is indeed done for the year then maybe we need to look at other options at running back, maybe drafting one as high as the 2nd

We need to even if he isn't. Round doesn't matter to me though. last night Philly had a UDFA kid gaining a lot of yards. He just needs to hang onto the ball.
But Murray isn't done.

We need another RB regardless if Murray is done for the year or not. 2nd round sounds high to me.
This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I'd start with looking at a back from Tennessee.
Seems they're turning out some good ones lately.

Miles
DeMarco
Lee
Carter
Jenks
Rat
The toothbrush had to be invented in West Virginia, if it was created anywhere else it would have been called a teethbrush.

There's quite a few good backs in the draft. We need to get one to split time w/ Murray. I'd prefer one with speed/versatility because we don't really have a lot of that. Someone that defenses need to account for on 3rd down.
I hope he's not done yet, but it's not looking good so far.

They need to go find a bigger power back with speed like you find in the SEC; Murray has been hurt all through college and in both NFL years!
