Jerry Jones' way leads to highway
Jean-Jacques Taylor [ARCHIVE] ESPNDallas.com | November 26, 2012

That is so idiotic on it's own that it should be enough to know just what kind of completely insane moron we have running this team.

We'll settle this with a good dust up.

No other NFL HC acts as a Coordinator right? McCarthey, Payton, Belichick, Reid. I am sure I am forgetting some, and yes, I do realize Payton had given play calling duties to Carmichael. He still did it at their highest success time. Landry did it on both sides of the ball. Parcells did it.
This isn't all that uncommon, just another misinformed article.

I understand that other HC call plays but the real question is how many owners require the HC to call the plays, the HC should make the calls on that not a GM or owner

Right.
The fact that our owner feels the head coach must call plays to show his worth to the organization is about as ridiculous a statement that he's ever made.
He just has no respect whatsoever for the position.

They call their plays. Or are you suggesting they don't?
Wait could this be a situation where someone has a title (coordinator) that doesn't do the things coordinators normally do? I was assured that is never the case.

It's pure semantics whether the owner requires his head coach to run the team a certain way?

Jerry sees himself as the HC. JG is the OC. Remember the Cowboys are structured differently than the rest of the NFL.
