If Dallas lost to Philly....it would get real interesting around here next week.

I expect Garrett to at least finish the season; in fact, I think he'll be back. But a loss here with these circumstances in Philly might send Jerry into a tailspin. He might cut Garrett right there just to calm the masses a touch.

Hey, if they spot us 21 points with defense and st I'm with you, we kill 'em.

This......

It's the Cowboy's version of the perfect storm. Primetime game in front of a national audience, weak opponent, and an absolute 'must win' game.

Board up the windows and get out of town people!
Jerry Jones....Selling mediocrity and excuses to the fans since 1997.

The Eagles are playing with a very short deck and have nothing to lose on Sunday. They're done and so is Andy Reid so they can throw caution to the wind. It's not wise taking a down and out team like that for granted especially when you're a team as mediocre as the Cowboys who have only 2 more wins than Philly.

Babin being cut has sent a message to the rest of Philly's players their heads could be next on the chopping block before the season ends so I don't expect them to lay down. I'm not saying the Cowboys won't win I'm expecting them to win but I'm not expecting a cakewalk.

You mean the same message that was supposed to be sent when they fired their defensive coordinator? You know they have not won a game since that firing right? And no one said they would lay down the eagles are just not good enough which has been evident the pass 7 weeks.

The Eagles game is the only sure win I see left on the schedule so if they can't win that then it's no need for Garrett to be on the sidelines

The only thing I was a little tiny bit uncomfortable about when it comes to this game was the fact that is was a DECEMBER GAME and that Andy Reid always wins in December. They are only have lost once in december since 2009.

But then I started thinking that it shouldn't mean anything since Reid's other two streaks have already ended

He never lost more than 4 in a row as a eagles coach.........ended

He never lost a game after the bye......................ended

So will be ok and will win so we can get ready to go to cincy with a 6-6 record

You go on and on about our last game against Philly but that game had meaning to it, loser was pretty much out of the playoffs.. they called it the "fork game" cause whoever lost was going to get the fork. So Philly played as tough as they could until a few players got hurt. Fast forward to this Sunday. Everyone knows Reid is getting fired, they cut Babin, Lesean Mccoy is out, Vick is out, Desean Jackson is out, they are starting a rookie QB that is completely inept, and they just got throttled by a 2-8 Carolina team that has been a joke all season and somehow you think it will be a close game between us and Philly?

Again. the Cowboys do suck this year but the Eagles are on a whole different level of suck and will get killed by the Cowboys Sunday night.
Talk about being wrong how does a team get "throttled" losing by just 8 points? What game were you watching Monday night? Dude that was a completive game in which Philly had the lead heading into the 4th quarter and you keep trying to spin they got abused. If losing 30-22 in a game that Philly held the lead 3 different times before losing in the 4th quarter is your idea of being throttled then if the Cowboys beat Philly by 10 points Sunday night are you going to come on here spinning that was a blowout?

You claim you're a realist but the fact is all you do is exaggerate. You claim the Cowboys suck but are predicting they're going to blowout a Philly team they needed 21 points by the defense and special teams to beat 3 weeks ago. You claim Romo sucks when the fact is he's a very good QB. What do you think of Drew Brees does he suck?

I stated a few days ago if you put Brees on the Cowboys they wouldn't be any better off than they are with Romo. Brees is having the same int issues as Romo because his team has a messed up coaching situation and they keep getting behind and he's pressing trying to bring them back. He has more picks than Romo right now. It's possible the Cowboys could blowout Philly with the short deck they're playing with but the Cowboys are too mistake prone and lack a killer instinct to put anyone away.

If they jump on Philly getting them down by a couple of scores Garrett will get conservative fearing turnovers which will keep Philly in touch. Plus the defense is showing cracks like it always does entering Dec they'll manage to give up some cheap scores with busted coverages just look at the last 2 games. Everything is going to have to go the Cowboys way for them to win by 17 or more.

Their defensive coordinator had been under fire since last season. Firing him sends a message he wasn't getting it done. Cutting players sends a message they're not getting it done. No game is a sure win in the NFL but the Philly game is the only real winnable game the Cowboys have left.

The only solid win the Cowboys have had this season was on opening night vs the Giants. None of us would have ever imagined that. The Cowboys are not a very good team so it's hard to envision them blowing anyone out when almost all the wins they've had this season have been ugly.

Their biggest margin of victory was 15 points and that was a result of 21 points by the defense and special teams. The "offense" has scored over 30 points only once all season.

Who cares? if they win 28-13 on Sunday will it really matter that the pts came from the defense and special teams? I believe all those players are also paid to help the team win so again explain to me what you are talking about?

How about this.. I say the Cowboys win by more than 10 points on Sunday. You and I can bet on it.. you name the amount you want to bet. If you don't bet, I will be sure to remind you just how wrong you were once Dallas kills Philly on Sunday night.

I am a realist and I have said a million times the Cowboys are a pathetic team this year. With that said, they have not been quitters at all this year. Philly is a team that has absolutely quit and the wheels have fallen off. I'm sorry you haven't realized that yet. There is ZERO chance Dallas will lose to the Eagles and I will bet ANYONE who thinks otherwise.

I actually watch ALL nfl teams play football, not just the Cowboys, and not just highlights and it is easy to see a team that is done. The 2-8 Panthers toyed with them. They didn't even take the game seriously.

Drew Brees is having an off year, his team is in complete disarray because of the scandal, and they lost their head coach...and you are going to attack him when he is down? Give it a rest man.

And who was that against again? Ah, the EAGLES on their own turf. And who cares how we score points? A beatdown is a beatdown. It has also been explained to you ad nauseum that the Eagles still had something to play for in that game too. They were playing for their season and we still beat them by 15 points.

Now they have ZERO to play for and they are without Mccoy, Vick, Jackson, and Babin and all the players know the coach is gone at the end of the year too. You think they are going to play hard for him?
