And lose? If its contractualy written, I don't see any ground Benson would have of winning except delaying it. Not that Payton is coming to Dallas, but this makes me think that there may be something in the tea leaves.

This is the first time I've actually thought there was a chance.

Benson does not need to say this if there's nothing for him to worry about. And this could be the first thing that starts to drive a larger wedge between Payton and the Saints. That previously wasn't there.
