Brees and 5 picks *Merge*
Happens to the best of them appearently. 5-7 5 picks. Should they just cut bait and start looking for a new QB to ?

of course not, he is a proven winner. matt ryan just recently threw 5 picks, too, and has never won a playoff game, though. guess the falcons should be looking to upgrade.

I dang sure wouldn't have signed him to a five-year deal at his age.

This post is really about Tony Romo isn't it?
I'm neither a Tony Romo hater / lover. I am, however, finding the fact that every time Brees, Brady, and Rodgers have a bad game we see thinly veiled posts like this to be chuckle worthy.

Yup. It does. Whether people like it or not.
Either way, I would be willing to bet that if you asked coaches and scouts to choose who they would want to be their starting QB, Brees would win in a landslide.
If our arguments for Romo every year are that other QB's throw 4 or 5 Interceptions in a game, then we have a problem with our QB's ability to protect the football.

I never said that. Winning a super bowl makes a 5 pick game more palatable.
I like Romo, I think he can win a super bowl if the team were better. I'm not sold on Red though.

The Saints are a perfect example of how important coaching is in the NFL. They would have a better record with Payton there, as would we.

LOL at Brees
I thought Brees was simply marvelous last night. Marvelous in the sense that he escapes the criticism for the most part after a 0 TD and 5 pick performance. Congrats Drew.
Sorry Tony. They (media and fans, many fans in here unfortunately) would rather throw you under the bus. Then put it in gear and back over you.
Wasn't that a must-win game to boot? Somebody not named Tony trying to put the team on his back and does too much. Tssk! Tssk!

Should this be merged ?
Also, should both threads be moved...to the correct forum ?
EDIT: I do find it odd when an adult male says "LOL".

instead of flaming, try to be objective and see what contributed to the poor showing by a QB that most objective people would agree is an elite QB in the NFL and has won a championship
absence of his HC who is one of the best offensive minds in the NFL
now, compare that to our HC
try to keep an open mind

Was that before or after putting bounties on opposing QB's and key offensive players?
