Default Skins fans getting ahead of themselves

Skinas are 5-6 and 2 games back. That is sam e as the boys. Yes, an edge on the tie-breaker, but the Skins have a much tougher opponent this week than the Boys. Odds are Boys will be 6-6 next week and Skins 5-7.

Just being objective.

They can feel pretty good. Their QB is playing lights out right now and if they can manage to grab a win Monday night then they're going to really put themselves in a nice position going forward.

I don't see why they shouldn't be some what excited at this point.

Considering it's December and the boy's probably won't be favored in any other game after this week, the Skins will pass us by soon anyway.

They are 5-6 but they are clicking right now. They are playing a meaningful December game at home after a long long time. Their QB is playing up to expectations and they have a coach who has won 2 SB's. I think they are right to feel good about themselves.

They are clicking right now, we on the other hand are . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Thankfully we get the pitiful Iggles.

These threads.......

Do the skins have a tougher road? They play the Giants.......I thought we were told the Giants were folding and that was going to give Dallas hope to sneak in and take the division title? I could have sworn that was a common theme not too long ago.

They play:

Giants
Ravens
Browns
Eagles
Cowboys

Dallas plays:

Eagles
Bengals
Steelers
Saints
Redskins

Redskins have an easier road to finish. And they're coming off back to back divisional wins.

I'd much rather be trending up with weaker opponents ahead than stagnating with tough opponents ahead.

Even if the Redskins drop the next 2, they have Cleveland and Philly with Dallas at home to finish.

They'd likely be 7-8 going into the final week at home.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who can honestly say Dallas will go 4-0 leading up to the final week.

Bengals, Steelers and Saints. All tough games. That's even provided that Dallas beats the Eagles which is far from a guaranteed.

But, lets pretended Dallas is sitting at 8-7 for the final week of the season. They somehow win 3 of the next 4.

Washington at 7-8

Dallas at 8-7

Home game for Washington. Provided any sort of wildcard spot would be on the line, Washington has a home game against a team they've already beaten.

I honestly don't see how they're in any worse of a position than Dallas.

The Skins are clearly headed in the right direction. No question.

Now, can you say the say the same for the Cowboys?

There is no formula for success except an unconditional acceptance of life and what it brings.

Skins fans are either one way or another

they win one game they scream "were superbowl bound and talk crap for the whole week"

they lose one game " fire shanahan, i hate this team we suck"

they are really the most delusional fans in sports

I see a lot of Cowboys fans the same way. I think it may say something about Man's failings or original sin or something. Damned woman talking to the snake...

glad that doesn't happen around here.
You can't spell bias without BS.
