Garrett's shortened up the routes much more this year than in years' past out of necessity, and it isn't because Jason Witten has to go out for a pass.
Romo has been under siege from every direction this season, but mainly from the right and right-middle.
With Free's base salary jumping to 11 million next season, he's gone.
Jerry's just trying to make the most of what he's already paid this season by pumping Free up to help bolster his confidence.
But the actions of the team in playing Parnell speak volumes otherwise. Free's had plenty of chances to get his act together. It's over.
