The obvious answer, which that stat highlights, is that there are issues on the team and they're not at the QB position.

I'd say the problem in the context of recent Decembers is the lack of defensive takeaways, personally, but for whatever reason, that's not as sexy to put out there as problems in the trenches or with the head coach.
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

The short answer without all the numbers is that there are two QB on the field. As outstanding as Romo has been in late season games, opposing QB have been able to (basically) equal that.

And thanks Idgit and Hoofbite for the kind words, from a fan of both you guys.

While I think big changes need to be made on the Oline, I don't think that big changes need to be made with this team. When Wade was here and Romo would go out, the team would quit. That is what got him fired mid-season when Romo broke his collar-bone. I went to the game the week after that happened and that was the most pathetic performance against Jax that I had seen in a while.

I have seen none of that quit attitude from the Cowboys since Garret took over and while I don't agree with a lot of his play -calling and his game management, I do believe he is changing the culture in Dallas.

It's not all on Romo? Dude, NONE of it is on Romo. Or haven't you seen his December QB rating?
