Can someone list the significant injuries we've had this year?
I want a complete list so that I can present it to a Cowboys hater friend of mine who is trying to give the excuse of Roethlisberger and a few other Steelers missing time for their ho-hum season so far. I told him that it's nothing compared to what the Cowboys have experienced injury-wise this season, especially now with the news of Dez.

Thank you, FiveRings and Hostile. I'm gonna use Hostile's list and add DeMarco and Ratliff, since they missed a significant amount of time. Probably will add Brent to the list, even though he didn't get hurt. I'm not trying to have a contest of who can make the bigger excuses for their team, I just want him to know that we've had more than our fair share of struggles on the injury front.
EDIT: Just saw jimnabby's list. That's perfect. I'll just copy and paste that and add some of Hostile's. Thank you.

Not just the big names, even the backups have gone down, especially at safety. Then you got others missing time constantly, just been a crazy season.
Coleman should be added, along with Spencer missing time. Jenkins missing time, Felix being injured every time he gets out of bed, Lissemore missing time, even Tyron missing time, and thats not even mentioning draft picks. Matt, McSurdy, and Coale gone.
The list is pretty long at this point.

It doesn't include Josh Brent yet either.
Or Dez if the hand specialist says no go.

And this doesn't include the guys who missed games, most of whom missed multiple games:
Anthony Spencer
Demarco Murray
Tyron Smith
Miles Austin
Jay Ratliff
Mike Jenkins
Jason Hatcher
Charlie Peprah
Dan Connor
Sean Lissemore
Marcus Spears
Then of course there's Josh Brent
And Claiborne and Ernie Sims got knocked out of yesterday's game, status TBD.
Just unfrigginbelievable. Keep in mind this is just off the top of my head, if you looked further into it I bet there are some I'm forgetting.
At least 16 starters/regular contributors on our defense have either been placed on IR or missed significant time this year. The only one's who haven't are Ware, Carr and Sensabaugh.
