Default Nick Saban in the NFL

Do any of you see him coming back to the NFL?

Do you think he could have the ultimate success and win the Superbowl at this level?

He's always seemed like an NFL coach anyways and if he went to a team with a QB he could probably be a top NFL guy.

We've seen what Pete Caroll is doing in Seattle and I believe Saban is twice the Coach Pete is.

He will eventually.

Everyone used to say there's no way Pete Carroll goes to the pros, he's got it made at USC. Just like they say about Saban now.

But the guy was a competitor. Just like Saban.

I think he comes back to the NFL and he'll do very well.

everyone knew Carol wanted back in the pros. He just took his time because he had a great thing at UsC. Remember, he was fired from New England, Saban quit after what 2 years in Miami and was pretty dishonest about it.

It'll be a long time before anyone gives Saban a chance in the NFL

Miami will always be a bad job, I don't blame Saban for leaving. He was dishonest with the media about it because it is none of their business while the NFL season is still going. What coach has ever talked about looking for a new job before the end of the season? It isn't like he was Parcells, holding a team hostage while it waited for a decision. Or Petrino, leaving mid season without a word. He will be back in the NFL because owners want to win and Saban will do that for them.

Neither one of these issues matter. Saban will never be able to connect on a coaching level with these over-paid , pre-madonn professional athletes. That was his demise. He ain't got it in him to coddle a player. Hollering and bullying isn't gonna work at this level.

BTW - Petey didn't "take his time". He totally screwed the USC football program and then split while the splitting was good. Pete is a Chump.
AS: Cowboys ice their own kicker in 19-13 OT loss

“That is one of the luxuries of my position as owner as well as the ultimate decision maker, general manager and president – I can do that and take the losses and come back for more,” Jones said.

Depends on his Sabans ego. If Saban thinks he needs to prove it in the NFL he will wait until he gets the perfect job where he is both GM and HC. I dont think the new NFL can function like that ... so i think he stays in the college ranks.
**** JJ 2013 Draft Board ****
1) RB ... gotta get a felix replacement
2) DB ... need to replace Jenkins
3) WR\TE ... need more offense
