Garrett as a HC has been in the position less than 2.5 years. Hypocrisy?

Of course, the team quite playing on Wade. Typical JG supporter answer.. But that avoids the point...
So 4 years, with a division title and a playoff win, doesn't indicate progress, one half a season allegedly does... But Jason Garrett sulking in mediocrity since he's been here is not enough time to reflect his mediocrity... nice logic...
Let's not forget though the offense, during the team giving up on 'Wade' couldn't find the red-zone at all the first three games, because of Jason Garrett's stench, while the defense was still doing decent.
But obviously, the team gave up on Wade...

I support HC and I think any HC who is hired should be given a chance to do the job. Has nothing to do with Garrett the individal but the same respect I would give any man hired to do the job.
I hated to see Wade fired and wished things would have worked out different. Since Garrett has taken over they have had many changes players released and yes I give Garrett or any HC hired at least 3 years as HC to get things turned around. The logic is the same logic most organization use.
That lump 3 feet above of your ars is something you need to start using other than for a hat rack.

"Red" Ginger? As opposed to what, blue ginger? Green ginger?
As for being overrated, I have to disagree. You can use ginger for a lot of things. Don't want to use too much though, or it can overpower the rest of the dish. All in all though, it's a very versatile spice.
There's always more to the story.

Hey, I know...let's see if Campo would come back as our HC. You know, cause he had so much success and all....
Other than the penalties, I see improvement from 2010. I really do...sorry to disappoint the Debbie Downers, but there you have it.
And oh BTW, have we not won a few in a row, maybe 4 of the last 5? Even with all of the injuries? It would not surprise me if we ran the table, and finished 10-6.
It would not surprise me if we finished 8-8, either.
But I do like the way this team has come together.....

If Sean Payton is available, you have to go hard after him.
If not, you can keep Garrett.

I must have missed where anyone asked for that.
Is that how low the bar has now been set?
"At least he's better than Campo!"

What about 7-9? That's still a possibility too.
We've beaten the other bottom-feeders we've faced. The good teams have whipped us.

And that's what I have a hard time seeing.
Where has the team 'come together'?
Not in any measurable way.
Who cares if everybody gets along or is on the same page when you don't win?

You know the season is not over just yet either. Really do not know how this final 3 games will go.

I will say this.
EVERY fanbase of EVERY team has a pretty sizable contingent that ALWAYS wants a new head coach and a new quarterback. No matter what.
I'd love to have Payton. But I'm not giving up on Garrett. I think he has what it takes to get this turned around, especially given the GM he has to work for.

I don't have much use for absolute positions on Garrett either pro or con because those folks tend to never concede the good points their counterparts bring up. Its all 100% for, or 100% against. It tells me they'd rather prove they're right than ever consider the possibility that someone else has a legitimate point.

Does it matter? It was built with maybes and other teams back ups to begin with. A direct result of our HC if he has the input some claim he has.
I would say he failed miserably there.
We tell the team we have to move on from success" JG Oh how they have done that.
I know that when we do not have the kind of success, when we don't have expectations lived up to, the one that should get the most heat is the one that ultimately makes the decisions, period, with the Dallas Cowboys. And that's me."

Garrett has had 100% control of the Offense since day 1 as Offensive Coordinator, old Wade didn't exactly have a leash on him. Yet we still have miscues and false starts that out pace teams that are in year 1 of a regime.
Garrett's Offense wasn't exactly innocent in the Wade Firing, if JG wasn't such a horrible coach, then I would have called it a conspiracy.
This season we've yet to score more than 10 points in the first half... yet all we hear are excuses that he needs more time? He's been running this lucky if we have 2 scores offense at half since he was hired in 2007.
Austin/Witten/Dez/Murray/Jones/Romo, we should have at least 'accidentally' scored more than 10 at midpoint by now... clearly this talent is coming in handy in the 2nd half of games...
Slow start doesn't even begin to describe this team. Reminds me of the joke that asks what's the difference between the Cowboys and a dollar bill. You can get 4 Quarters out of a dollar bill.
All Process and No Progress.
