Vice City on Android
So, I saw that GTA Vice City was released for Android. It's been a long time since I've played GTA, but I felt compelled to grab it. Runs great on my Nexus 7.
The controls are going to take a bit of getting used too, but now I have new game to play on the commute home when I don't feel like reading. (most of the time I prefer to read since on the train is the only time I get too)

There is a good chance that you don't like me, but there is a better chance that I don't care.
If I'm not insulting you, I'm probably not aware that you exist.
Jerry Jones in the draft room is suicide on the football field. The line of scrimmage is EVERYTHING. Something Jerry doesn't understand.

How do you like that Nexus 7? Friend of mine asked which tablet was a great 7 inch tabby she could get for her kid for Christmas.
I said the Nexus 7 from what I have been reading. Thoughts?
I've got a prayer on my desk. It says, "Dear Lord, I pray that my place will never be with the cold, timid souls who do not compete yet criticize, for they never know or feel success or failure."

I love absolutely love it. I haven't had a single problem with it.

If you're looking for a 7-inch android tablet this Christmas, it simply has to be Nexus 7. You can't go wrong there.
On-topic: Gotta check out Vice City for android.

Hey Sam.
Honest question here....no agendas at all.
Do you subscribe to the idea that the odds are higher than average that the shooter in Conn. today was a gamer?
Believe me, this is no statement one way or the other on that topic.
I was just curious on your thoughts as someone who has played a few fairly violent games. Do you think there could be a correlation?

Honestly, I've been sick as hell and slept most of the day and didn't even hear about it until not too long ago. I haven't even really read much about it. (I feel bad enough already) So I don't know anything about the guy really.
That said, I think most kids are gamers today. I mean, can you name one male kid that doesn't play video games? (my daughter doesn't play video games) As for violent games, I don't think they cause someone to become a demented killer. You are either demented or will become demented due to some event or events in your life. A video game certainly doesn't cause it.

I've always believed crazy or sick people will do sick things regardless.
But the games and graphics are so amazing now, I can see why some would ask if it desensitizes kids to pulling the trigger and seeing the results.
At this point, with literally billions on the line in investments, I suspect the ultra violent games are here to stay.
I'm hesitant to connect the dots anyway.
Get well.

I've played violent video games for at least 20 years. I'm still not desensitized to seeing gore. Even watching the video of RGIII's leg swing backwards in that injury last week was hard for me to watch.
I remember when I was a kid, a bunch of my friends showed up at my house with a Faces of Death VHS tape. I sat down to watch it, and I had to leave in just minutes after it started.
Violent video game? I have no issues at all. When you gibbed people in Id games, I loved it. I recently bought Left 4 Dead 2 for $4.99 on steam. My favorite thing to do is take the sniper rifle and make their heads explode!
