Default Could Burnett be a hybrid LB/S

This guy has the speed and size to be a safety.

Does he have the coverage abilities to play safety?

Not suggesting it as it appears he was drafted as a LB. But his size makes me think about safety ala Woodson.
Did you know there are only 5000 Snow Leopards in the wild now and they are confined to Central Asia? However, the effective global population (those likely to reproduce) is less than half that number.

He's not an NFL safety.

His poorest grades as a linebacker were in coverage.

I don't know the guy. So I assume they put as much weight on as they can and use him only as a LB.

He's a LB. He's not even close to being a safety. He's a run stuffing LB.

No way... too big, not fast enough, doesn't have the hip turn for the position.

But he could be a darned good LB.

I understand the need to still the safety position, but this isn't the answer there.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

He's graded as a potential All Pro LB.

Well it appears my question and curiosity is answered. I hope he can put on a little weight without loosing quickness, speed and agility. Seems a little small at 230. Is that really his weight now since most info I see lists him a little bigger?

He was reported as 239 6'1" on the Ticket when we picked him. Seems a little short for a Parcells pick at LB so the 6' 2.5" seems more likely. They said that he would likely play at about 245. Parcells will have him bulking up in the offseason program as soon as he can get involved in it.
