IRVING — For the first time in a month and a half, Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee has been walking around this week without the help of crutches or a walking boot.
Lee had his protective walking boot removed Monday, taking a step forward in his recovery process after he had season-ending surgery on his right big toe Oct. 30. Lee suffered torn ligaments and a torn plantar plate in his toe in the Cowboys’ win at Carolina on Oct. 21.
