McShay: Vaccaro top all-around S in '13 class
Scouts Inc.'s Todd McShay believes Texas senior Kenny Vaccaro is the "best all-around safety in a strong safety class."
McShay also believes six or seven prospects at the position could be selected in the top two rounds, citing Florida's Matt Elam and Georgia's Shawn Williams as other examples. He adds that Vaccaro likely comes off the board in the top-20 or 25 range due to his fluidity working in coverage and comfort close to the line of scrimmage. Dec 14 - 3:28 PM

i like baccari rambo for value more than Vaccaro.
I am hoping for either an OLB(if spencer leaves) or jonathan cooper.
WE could be right in the correct spot for an interior lineman this year without people crying about reaching.

McShay's right. Vacarro is the best S in this class. He's a ballhawk who can come up to the LOS and tackle with the big boys. I wouldn't mind it all if he was there, but with a deep safety class like this one, I bet the Cowboys hold off on a Safety until the 3rd or 4th round.

I'll be interested in seeing where Ray Ray Armstrong lands in the draft.
It wasn't long ago that he was mentioned as a possible first or second rounder. Now he's pretty much fallen off the map after being kicked off the Miami team and sitting out this season.
The kid has plenty of red flags, but could be a steal in the late rounds.

seems like one of the better safety classes to come out in years which means we probably won't pick one

With Elam, Vcarro, Johnson, Shawn Williams and Phillip Thomas, this Is a very good class. Also Reid has yet to declare. If he does this will be a great class.

Any opinions on D.j. Swearinger? He looks like a really good mid-round guy to me.

Are there any ballhawks in this S class?
I haven't seen any.
