Default 3-5 ?

Where does this leave Roy. Will he still play close to the line or back off more into coverage. Does he blitz more or less. What is the role of a SS in a 3-4 Man I can't wait for the season to start.

Off topic Question:
Who will put more players on the DL?
Ware or Roy

The 3-4 only changes the front 7. Not the secondary. If it has any effect on the secondary it would be that it gives more options for blitzing a safety, ala Ed Reed in Baltimore.

I understand that I was trying to imply that Roy will play still play close to the line of scrimage to be "regarded" as a LB

Whether we play a 4-3 or 3-4 Roy will only play in the box if we can get a coverage FS. The front 7 has nothing to do with it.

The 3-4

Generally needs bigger Safeties - Roy will fluorish and be in the box. I still fear we have not addressed FS.

I'm looking at a CB/FS pick in 4 or a miracle Ty Law FS signage after Draft. That puts us right in Philly face after great draft we had today.

Alright man. You didn't answer the original Question I tried to pose. You are just trying to educate me or something. I know you played football in high school but others know about football also.
It was just a hypothetical Question. Stop being so serious all the time. It's kind of boring.

That's exactly what I am thinking. The Law signing would be a miracle.

As far as the draft anyone in mind?
