The offense was middle of the pack last year, and that really is more than enough to win with the type of defense the Cowboys are going to be marching out there next year.

We put up 40 on the Hawks. We were scoring with the Vikings in the first game, but we couldn't stop Minnesota. No, defense was the way to go.

Our offense was about the same last year as the year before but we went from playoffs to crapola because of a lousy D.

Great defenses arent as subject to weather, crowd noise, one player getting hurt, or having an off day as great offenses.

If anyone on the Pats D got hurt the'yd be ok. If Manning got hurt the Colts are toast.

Firin Mike Zimmer woulda been a better way to go

Thanks for the obvious.

This is a team who is battling several major injuries to
key players including Pro Bowl talents like Lee, Austin, Jenkins, Murray,
Carter and Ratliff. Other key starters missing include Costa, Smith, Church and
Coleman. That is 11 key players - that's half the starting lineup. Yet we still went 8-8.

I'd be shocked if a former QB didn't say we should focus on offense.

and while we all love him, let's not pretend Aikman is a professional NFL team analyst or coach...he's a former QB...what else would he say?

Our OL should be better, and our QB play will hopefully be a little better...If Morgan progresses with an offseason in the offense, hopefully we'll be okay.

I'm most worried about our WR's, but I'm giving Morgan the benefit of the doubt because he came in during the season and had to adjust on the run...with training camp and a year in the offense, he will hopefully be better at #3.

Parcells has used his 3 highest picks and 20 million on defensive free agents and still could bring in another player(FS). Thats over half the defense replaced, same coordinator . Who do you think HE blames ?

The offense we put on the field when the season starts will be much different than the one that ended the season last year. Our D need major upgrading. It was exposed and teams started killing us. I love this draft.

I guess Troy doesn't realize we gave up 31 passing TD's and finished last in plus minus takeways and gave about over 400 Points....Yeah Troy..we needed 3 Offensive players...I think those concussions are kicking in.

Give it up, you lost the skirmish, battle and the war.

Deal with it and don't hide when we have a better D because we now have talent.

Carnell Williams would have said it differently, but I agree.
