Saints Fan Here Wishing You A Good Game This Sunday
Just a Saints fan here wishing all of you a good game this coming Sunday.
Saints have every intention of winning.
It's been made known by interim coach Joe Vitt that everyone except Drew Brees is playing for their jobs for next season.
If anyone lays down or quits they will be probably be cut before next season. That's one of the reasons the Saints scored 41 points last week.
Saints play aggressive, not conservative and they have their own standards to live up to regardless of their record.
Only two games left for the year for us, let's have a good entertaining game with no injuries.
My only question is, since Dallas and the Texans are both on Fox this week and the games are on at noon, how can I watch the Dallas game in Houston?

In all honestly...this really isn't that big of game for Dallas. They can still lose and win the division if they beat the skins the following week if giants lose atleast one game (they play in Balt).

I don't believe the players share your sentiments. Need to win.

If you believe that load of crap that every player on the roster not named brees is playing for their job then there's nothing I can say to help you. I can probably name close to 30 players who aren't playing for their jobs

It's only "not a big game" if the Giants lose one of their last two. Baltimore and Philly are both very beatable so I don't have that much confidence that this game is not so big. If we played at 4PM and the Giants had already lost their 1PM game then the game might be basically meaningless, but that's not the case (times are flipped in reality). If Dallas loses, they could beat Washington and still miss the playoffs if the Giants go 10-6. So we really don't know how meaningful this game is yet.
"I just always feel that he's going to find a way to win the game…He has evolved into a great, great leader of the team...He is the total package." Roger Staubach about Tony Romo
"They're a talented group with a great quarterback, and they're well on their way." Troy Aikman on the Cowboys and Tony Romo
But what do Roger and Troy know about great quarterbacking, talent, leadership, and winning anyway?

First off even if JJ is willing to cut JG, he still has to want to give up total control to SP if he expects to reel him in.
In actuality the Dallas job makes too much sense, it's the perfect scenario for SP.
I just don't think JJ's ego will let him step aside like he needs to.
If he did just that and he was able to steal SP from the Saints, Dallas would be almost unstoppable.
And you would see Romo playing like he's never played before.
Just ask Drew.

You know what I mean.
Colston, Graham, Moore, and a few others have nothing to worry about.
But players like Devrey Henderson do.
They will be evaluated according to how hard they play even though they are not going to make the playoffs.

Well, there may be closer to twenty not playing for their jobs. You might be surprised by a few that may be gone because of the young talent.

Every games a big game.
We tell the team we have to move on from success" JG Oh how they have done that.
I know that when we do not have the kind of success, when we don't have expectations lived up to, the one that should get the most heat is the one that ultimately makes the decisions, period, with the Dallas Cowboys. And that's me."

Henderson is gone. Morgan is the new deep threat. Will Smith will be gone. His cap number doesn't warrant keeping him with the good young talent. Vilma may be gone for the same reason.

Unless you are a total bottom feeder, which neither of these teams are.

Who is going to cut them? Vitt? Lol, like he's going to cut half the team before Sean Payton has a chance to say anything.
Vitt is just keeping the spot warm until SP is done with his suspension.
I'm sure they want to look good on film for next season, but no more so than they did before Vitt said anything to them, or more than any other losing team's players.
Vitt is in no position to threaten the whole team with their jobs.

Yeah Morgan is doing good.
Seems like he is not dropping balls like before.
Saints need that deep threat because Drew likes to swing for the fences whenever he has the right matchup and Morgan is fast.
Kinda wish Meachem was still there but Morgan is making up for it.
Colston
Graham
Moore
Morgan
Thomas
I can live with that.
