Default Australian Rules Football... Awesome!

I have no idea what's going on, but this sport is awesome!

Its an Australian off-shoot of Gaelic Football. They still play 'compromise rules' International games between Ireland and Australia every couple of years.

We like here Rasta in Melbourne it is a religion, if you are looking to pick a team to follow may I suggest Richmond, we are a young developing team on the rise who I make the finals next season.

Not really an off-shoot of Gaelic football but there is a series played between Australia and Ireland but played with a round ball and 2 posts and a soccer goal underneath. The game is played on a rectangular pitch too which is quite different to the oval shaped playing arena that Australian Rules is played on.

I used to watch Australian Football all the time when ESPN was in its infancy. I loved the game. They used to show all kinds of different sports back then. Now they're too big to show things like that.

The opening post had some good highlights but it didn't have the best "mark" (catch) that I have ever witnessed. This one from back in the 1980's is the best I have seen.
