Imagine what it would be if
A)The offense was designed around him
B)He was healthy
C)Romo had an offensive line
D)We had a running game
In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

Imagine if.....we had cut or traded him like the media wanted us to do. Of course, all of them will just kiss butt now and not mention how hard they were on the situation.
Bunch of slimy weasels.

If we fix the interior of this line, a 4th year Romo/Dez could be lethal.

Exactly. Imagine cutting him, and who would be right there waiting for him? Deadskins. And if he went there, lights out for Cowboys for the next 8 years.

I've been on the Dez bandwagon since the day we drafted him. I've always suggested all he needed was time, familiarity with Romo, and emphasis in the game plan.
We should be throwing deep to Dez twice a quarter. A suggestion I made a year or two ago.
Extremely happy with how he is playing right now. Which makes me even more disappointed with Miles Austin and DeMarco Murray.
In the final two months of 2011, Romo’s passer rating was 115.9.

He's having an All-Pro caliber season.
*8th in receiving yards at 1311. Less than 30 yards separates receivers ranked 4-8.
*Tied with James Jones for most Rec. TD's (12)
*6 TD's of 40+ yards, only Aj Green has more with 7 (not bad for a possession receiver)
*And now also leading the league in receiver rating?
There's 4 spots to go around between the 1st and 2nd team respectively. Calvin Johnson is certainly a lock, but you'll have a hard time convincing me Dez Bryant doesnt deserve one of the 3 other spots.

I am so proud of Dez. I am happy for him too. He is the one good story to come out of this season for me. Romo will always have his fans (rightfully so), but for me, its Dez all the way. My fellow East Texan.
Life is like being a Cowboys fan. You never know what ya gonna get.

Calvin Johnson and Brandon Marshall are the top 2 this year.
Dez will be fighting with A.J. Green, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, and Demaryius Thomas. All of their numbers are pretty similar.
Johnson and Wayne lack the TDs, but have him beat on the yardage..for now.

I'm not quite sure what the criteria is. Last year they took the top 4 receivers by yards. If you look at the stats this year the Johnsons and Brandon marshall are above the field, but there's a log jam at 4-8 separated by no more than 30 yards.
Vincent Jackson -- 1334 yds, 8 TD
A.J. Green -- 1324 yds, 11 TD
Reggie Wayne-- 1315 yds, 5 TD
D. Thomas-- 1312 yds, 9 TD
Dez Bryant-- 1311 yds, 12 TD

Dez's push is so late I do wonder how that will factor into things. We win against the Skins where he has another big game, and that should do it.

It shows this is a passing league, and there are some really good young receivers out there.

Fix the DL and OL next year and we will be dominant.

I know it's meaningless, but do we expect him to make the Pro Bowl? He's top three in the conference in every receiving category, but like some people have mentioned, did his statistical push come too late to garner votes?
Yes, meaningless, I know...
