It doesn't make it right, but its reality, qb has become the most important position in sports. Is it all tony's fault, no, but lets not give him a complete pass. Last year in a winner take all situation his offense put up 14 points.

Not this year, if you include both sides of the ball and special teams.

But I do think they could have done some damage in 2007. They lost tothe SB champs that season and that Giants team had a preposterously good pass rush come playoff time. Still should have beaten them. That was 5 years ago....still hurts.

It is reality that the media will protray it that way. Now given dumb comments made by the media over the years why would I put stock into what they say? and because some fans parrot them again is foolish. No doubt many will say it, I think I'm smart enough to know better.

Until this game is played as a one on one with just 2 QB playing vs each other then this game is still about which team goes out and produces.

I do think poor QB play will get you beat faster than any other position

There are people out there who have played the game, who have earned respect who are saying it too.

and yet would tell you Marino was one of the all time greats? They will put Warren Moon in the HOF as well as Fouts. 0 SB wins between the 3 of them and only 1 appearance in the SB out of the 3

There are many HOF coaches who will tell you the QB gets too much of the credit for wins and too much of the blame after a loss.

And those guys all won multiple playoff games, tony has one so far. I like tony a lot, but its getting to the point when he is going to have to win some big games for us.

This essentially sums up where Tony Romo's career is at.

He is 32 years old, and for whatever reason, only has 1 playoff victory to his name. Hopefully this is the year he makes a run.

He's a quarterback, not a starting pitcher. If the defense gives up 45 points Sunday night Tony is still going to be stuck on one. You're just going to have to wrap your head around the fact that football is a team sport. It's easy if you try.

If he plays well on sunday, and the defense loses the game for us, you won't hear one complaint from me. Last year in this same game, he didn't play well.

OMG, it's amazing how much the media is trying to put this on Romo today. If the team loses, Romo is gone, won't get a new contract, can't win the big game, etc. Holy smokes. It's like every analyst completely forgot what they've been saying the past 7 weeks that these wins have been because of Romo.

As much as i'd love to see it, I don't see this team making a run though, regardless of what Romo does.

They will most likely have the worst defense among all NFC playoff teams if they win this week.
The line will be either the worst of close to the worst as well.
Tough sledding with that combo.

We can hope though.

He played "okay". He didn't play as well as his stat line suggests (2TD, 1INT, 79% COMP, 106 rating), but to say he didn't play well or suggest he is the reason for the loss is typical Romo hater amnesia.

They put up 14 points in the game, his number one job is to score.
