Good point on RBs.

What you can say is that top 1-3 ranked QBs are the rule as opposed to the exception when it comes to Superbowls -- Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Warner when he won it, Peyton Manning, etc.

Good point...I think Jamal Lewis was pretty outstanding for Bal the next year as well though.

you sound like you have a crush on Dez, Dez isn't the end all be all YET!!! Has a long way to go before he's elite....doesn't grasp the playbook...so the organization had to limit the routes he runs....three years and still doesn't grasp the playbook is inexcuseable as far as I'm concerned..

The threat of Murray and Witten definitely keeps defenses honest. Its very much a "pick your poison" type deal.

I do. In fact I defended this guy more than I have than Romo from Chief fans.

It may just be a big coincidence -- it probably is. But a notable one.
It is.

And Cruz was elite last year for the Giants. Maybe not top 2-3, but he played like a top 5 WR last year.

Having an elite WR definitely doesn't hurt your chances of winning a SB, that's absurd.

We have enough skill players to win but Dez is a matchup problem for every corner in the league. Without him, it would be tougher to score. Romo would have to go through all his reads every play to find someone open.

I thought it was without Tony Romo Dallas wouldn't have a chance.

If the Cowboys didn't have Dez, then Romo would throw more TD passes to D.Harris.

Didn't you hear? Romo sucks. Some QB named Colin Klein is our only hope in the future.

Without Romo we wouldn't stand a chance. We went 8-8 with Laurent Robinson being our main option last season. Dez is BIG for our offense but let's don't kid ourselves. Without Romo this team would MAYBE have 4 wins.

Is it possible to have a thread about Dez without bringing up Witten or Romo? All are important to this team but if we have a "Romo" thread do we need to bash Romo or say in the thread that he wouldn't be anything without Dez. How can we not see they all work together? Just saying. This started off about Dez, next thing I know we are talking about Murray, Witten, Romo ...
