Default Is this something that CBS and Fox always does in the last week of the season?

I see in my local area this sunday I get 2 CBS games and 2 FOX games and was wondering is this something that only happens at the end of the season The games i get are

1pm-CBS....Ravens at Bengals

1pm-FOX.....Eagles at Giants

4pm...CBS.....Dolphins at Patriots

4pm....FOX.....Packers at Vikings

I have never had 2 CBS and 2 FOX games before this upcoming sunday.

Thanks, it would be cool if it was every sunday because then the Sunday Ticket and Redzone channel wouldn't be needed

You can get a setup like that every sunday if you are in between two cities that have NFL teams.

Like when I lived in CT, I was able to get two different CBS channels and FOX channels. One CBS channel for MA and the other one for CT

Did you just wake up from a coma or something? You also asked about the unannounced flex schedule for week 17 as well when they've been doing it the last 4 years.

If it just started I;m obviously not used to it. Not like it's been happening since 1988

I think it depends on what market you live in and because it's the last reg season games?

Here in Dallas, that rarely happens, even if Dal has a bi or plays the SNF or MNF game, you almost never get both networks carrying back-2-back games.

As was said before, it's been normal for week 17 for a few years now. There are a very few areas of the country this weekend that will only get 3 games between CBS and FOX.

I;m confident it started after the 2008 season because I know for a fact it was no game opposite the Eagles/Cowboys game on CBS at 4pm in week 17

Really?
When asked whether Jason Garrett is the right head coach for this team: "I don't think there is anyone else that could. I think he is an unbelievable coach. We've responded to him and he has made us better football players, better people. If you watch us I think we play with a certain relentless spirit." --Sean Lee

Yes

1. Adrian Peterson is on a mission

2. The Vikings are at home

3. The Packers have a weak defense

Maybe my memory is a little foggy but didn't the NFL have games on Saturdays once the college season ended. Like the last 2 weeks of the year? Whatever happened to those. Was great having 2 weekend days of NFL football.
