Take Brady and Manning away from their teams and they still make the playoffs. Vikes don't sniff the playoff without AD.

Most Valuable Player should go to AP. Because of him Minnesota made the playoffs.

Hard to look past Peyton Manning as comeback player of the year after missing a complete year and four neck surgeries and having to start on a new team and winning first overall seed in their conference...if not MVP too

Peterson is the MVP, he carried that offense all year and got them in the playoffs in a tough division, while having the box stuffed on him each and every game because of Ponder being his QB. The Vikings also didn't have a 1,000 yard receiver on the team. Adrian Peterson will be your MVP.

Peterson is 107 yards behind Emmitt after six seasons but he'd need 9 more years of getting at least 1K each season to break the record. Emmitt's record is as close to untouchable as there is...those years in Arizona completely blew it away

I would reverse those awards.

Tim Tebow got that same Denver team to the playoffs and actually won a playoff game. You have no argument.

Good Lord ... so Minnesota goes to Green Bay next week? I completely missed that possible rematch. That'll be a fun game. I'd expect Green Bay to come back and wallop them since they're the home team.

Well, Tim Tebow did lead them to the division crown, it's not too big of a stretch to think that adding one of the best QBs ever would push them to the number one seed. Peterson carried the Vikings.

Glad the vikings made it. I either see the vikings winning again in a close one or the Packers just completely beating the hell out of them.

Replacement refs cost the Packers a first round bye with that ridiculous call back in September.
It's a new season, let's go!
