I really think Albright's a quality player but I hope to see a lot less of him on the field next year.

Positive? I am working at the SuperBowl this year. I will get to watch a lot of the 2nd half, so thats pretty exciting to be able to attend one.

This probably isn't the right thread for this, but since I can't post a new thread, here goes.
I rarely fall into personal connections with players, but seeing what Witten gave tonight from talking to the team per game, shouting at Romo on the sidelines and playing a sick game, it pained me to see him fail, yet again.

I agree.
Of the old "core" (Spears, Witten, Romo, Ware, Spencer, Sensi, Hatcher, etc), Witten is the ONLY one who doesn't raise some serious questions, IMO.
We need a serious infusion of young playmakers to replace these guys ASAP.

Probably going to start a blue print for 2013 thread when I'm up to it. Two thoughts....
Decreased playing time for Ware. I think we have much better chance to have a healthy Ware all season if we use him for no more than 60% of our snaps.
Maybe Albright can help make this feasible.
Increased role for Harris that includes some time at RB.

Agreed. It pains me to see the "loser" label attached to him. He's a class act, a warrior and pours every ounce of what he has into this team. The man had a freaking lacerated spleen and went out there and set the single-season catch record for his position. Hopefully one of these days he's able to enjoy some team success here.

You have a questionable idea of our core. I just see it as Romo,Witten,Ware,Ratliff and maybe Spencer

I actually agree with you. I was just naming the guys who have been here for a while with MINIMAL team success.
Fortunately, the old "core" is almost gone, but what's tough for us is that they are actually playing VITAL positions (QB, TE, elite Pass rusher, NT and complementary pass rusher).
This team MUST hit on the next few drafts. We can't have anymore Jenkins, Felix, Spears, Carp misses in the first round as it really sets us back in team building.

You're a good guy and at times have valid points.
