Your response implies that I consider that a negative thing. Not necessarily..

It will really show us what a lousy coach he really is, if he gets stripped of the only thing that got him the job in the first place.
We should hire a whole new staff and start over fresh. Let that staff make changes and get a new plan together.

Well said. That's exactly what it would be.
Ivy League
Jason Garrett offense rank minus Tony Sparano: 18, 14, 7, 15, 15

I hate changing coaches as well but if the guy you have isn't any good then you have to make a change.
Wade Phillips did a better job then Jason.

Well... I, sadly, just don't see a change happening so I have mentally prepared for the design that seats Garrett as a glorified cheerleader of men.

well that is BS since BP had 4 years and wade was booted after the team quit on him.
Campo was 5-11 three straight years. Show me a team that would have gone for 4 of that.
Some people chant continuity like it is some kind of mantra.

You're right about that and that's a fact. Nobody can argue that point.

Just heard Stephen on the fan and he said he is staying, so status quo. Woo hoo I'm excited about next season already. Aren't you?

That is what I have mentally prepared for. The rest of my fellow fans are clearly still wallowing in grief and some inane belief that Jerry won't be Jerry.

Quite simply if they don't fix the trenches and develop some sort of pass rush. 8-8 again.
If you build it, he will run...

Should be, even if it a couple seasons late no brainer... Garrett is a jack of all trades but master of none, this will allow him to concentrate on HC duties and see if he can pull it off.

Oh I knew it would be the same as well, but you always wish. I think it's a huge mistake as with all of the firings today the HC market is going to be really thin and a lot of the coaches will be gone, ie. Grudens, Cowhers, Holmgrens Reid's, etc.
It will much like when BP dragged his feet and didn't decide to retire until after the coaching slew took place and we were left with the Wades, Norvs, Riveras of the world off the scrap heat.

I don't either. I see more mediocrity and excuses too.
