Yes and at 4.5 YAC per carry last night, I say we keep Callahan, he did his job at least without 17 incompletions, sacks, or 3 interceptions because no one was open.
Collinsworth was laughing that the Redskins blitzed on every third down and Dallas did nothing to counter the predictability.
Norv will run the same as Jason because it is a theory of offense that they both adhere to. It's almost like firing Billy Graham as your theologian and then hiring Joel Osteen to come in and maybe start talking about other deities. Not going to happen.
It's a message board, that's what the topics are for.
What I don't understand...insistence...disdain...It's one thing to feel that way, and to say so. Why try to make other people agree with you....And why pretend...Disagree with me all you like...Don't start twisting mine or getting frustrated just because I don't want to eat the other half of that crap-sandwich you made for yourself...Because I don't happen to like crap sandwiches.

Norv would be a great hire. One of if not the best playcaller in the game.

This. Is there not a coordinator under Sean Payton, or New England, or Green Bay that we can hire?

It won't your right. Tony will be worlds better because Norv can coach the QB unlike what we have now, but he loves to go down field just the same on the long developing pass patterns.

This is about the worst possible scenario. It reeks of denial. Garrett is just plain in over his head.

Do you know how many teams still use Coryell/Zampese style of offenses?
Quite a few.
I'd rather see us create a hurry up version of the offense that is also predicated on not being afraid to go for it on 4th down. I think that is the future and the team who does it, will set the NFL ablaze. I really think the pistol formation will get killed in the next year or two and then they'll water it down so much that it doesn't look anything like it does now. But, hurry up and 4th down aggressiveness doesn't have that flaw, regardless of schematics.

I can buy all that. But these guys who are stuck in their ways aren't going to change to that style of offense.
Garrett wouldn't adjust last night because he just couldn't accept that his plays that should be working weren't working.

All these coaches are being fired and this bum is still here
If we don't bring in a real offensive coordinator say hello to another season of mediocrity

The Pistol has changed the game more so than the Run n Shoot I think and is leaving it's mark on the game right before our eyes. Do we really want to stay with the legacy of Air Coryell's offense indefinitely?
