Steve Young played something like 19 playoff games and only 3 were on the road. He lost them all.
If he didnt choke away games earlier this season (like against the Seahawks and Bears) he would get a chance to host a playoff game. Didn't Rodgers win the Super Bowl as the 6 seed? Wouldn't that make ALL his playoff games road games? Didn't Big Ben win it as a 6 seed? Stop making excuses. You can't nit pick stats. Elite QBs win games on the road. And you act like Romo has been super clutch at home. He got the majority of his wins on the road this year. You weren't making the "but to win on the road is so hard" argument then.

Let's be fair: Danny White had a much better team around him than Tony has.

FAIL Ask Atlanta how much he failed. You pulled that 0-4 stat out your rear end and it proves you are clueless...

Danny also faced stronger teams and more HOF QBs than Romo has...

All I do know is, if we lock this guy up to a long term deal, we're done. Romo will be 33 next year and his issues are not going to get any better. At the very least we have to give him some compitition, and tell him his job is on the line.
By the end of 2014 Romo will not be starting for the cowboys and the most popular phrase on the board will be..."see I knew we shouldn't have signed him to that big contract".

I honestly can't find anyone who has been to more elimination games and not moved on. I will have to run a query.

So, would Dallas have won last night if Orton would have played instead of Turnover Tony Romo?

same results at fraction of the cost.

Nope, cause Orton is just as INT prone. He has proved that time and again...

If the Cowboys were making the NFC Championship game and just falling short then I'd give the QB a free pass. Like Favre would always run into the Cowboys and could never win until Dallas was out of the Packers' path.

But Romo...we're talking about the final game of the season to just get in the playoffs

LOL, I thought this was about "clutch" games, not regular season performance. You can't seem to make up your mind. Again, your hero Troy sucked in these exact type of games. No matter what exceptions you throw out it doesn't change that the vast majority of quarterbacks don't win these types of games.

I'll say it again since you didn't hear me: your hero Troy sucked in these types of games!

Troy isn't my hero. I find it pointless to compare players to players of the past. I just gave you a few examples. Want more? Wasn't Eli's win in the conference championship last year in San Francisco? Weren't his two games against the Cowboys and Packers in his first Super Bowl run on the road? Weren't all 3 of Big Ben's and Rodgers's games on the road when they won th Super Bowl as the 6 seed? In Brady's first Super Bowl run he beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh on the road in the conference championship. He beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh on the road again in his 3rd Super Bowl run. Peyton won a game on the road in Baltimore during his Super Bowl run. As you see, I'm only including Super Bowl runs. These QBs have won a lot more road playoff games in seasons their team didnt win the Super Bowl.

And correction: All 3 of Eli's games in his first Super Bowl run were on the road because they were the 5 seed.
