Does Tony Romo have a Super Bowl trophy if Sean Payton takes him to New Orleans?
It is known that Payton wanted to take Romo with him when he left for New Orleans. Do you think Romo would be a Super Bowl champion if he had gotten his wish?
Sean Payton is everything Jason Garrett isn't when it comes to designing an offense. He excels at attacking a defense's weakness and finding a way go capitalize his player's strengths and I have a feeling he would have found a way to win with Tony Romo.
All hypothetical but what else have we got to do?

Bigger question: Does Sean Payton have a job/SB/Big contract extension with Romo? Who's to say.

Hmmm...straight to the point. I like that.
What about this...
Does Drew Brees win a SB without Sean Payton?

Stop!!!
Romo is a baller when he's confident. In N.O he would have to be the man much like here..he would put up numbers and maybe have some playoff wins..but in the big game he would choke. He needs a stud team like Seattle or San Fran to succeed.

Neither was Drew Brees in San Diego.
Funny how that works.

Going to change my answer.
I think he probably does. You have to remember that he'd be a different player with better coaching and a better system.
But even if is a tiny tick behind Brees, I think he gets to an NFC Champsionship game at least.

yes. same if he went to San Fran or Minnesota. Romo in Baltimore would produce a dynasty.

This could be said about any quarterback before they win a Superbowl.
Trent Dilfer won one and I think we can all agree that Tony Romo is better than Trent Dilfer.
Brad Johnson won a SB.
It is really all relative. You're a bust or a choker until you aren't.

All I know is that this team is going nowhere with the current head coach and the fact that he's staying just makes this even worse.
Thanks YoMick!

Nope Brees is the better pure QB. Come on folks, it's not like Brees was some scrub himself who became a product of the system. He was a Heisman finalist and was an early 2nd round pick. Had some good years in San Diego but had the shoulder injury.

I wouldn't pick the saints to be the team that romo goes to for a Super Bowl win. The saints are qb-reliant like the cowboys and I think Brees is better than romo, although both are similar types of qbs.
Even Brees had to have Brett Favre choking the NFC Champ game away and a Super Bowl pick six and onside kick to win the big one.

They definitely would have had alot more success then the Cowboys, but I dont think they would have won one. Brees is as good as it gets and he only had a good defense the year they won it all and has scarclely had a run game.

If you look at his body of work in San Diego it isn't all that impressive. He had one really good year with them (2004)... which is probably why they didn't mind letting him walk. Brees didn't become a 'superstar' until he went to the Saints.
