Default Romo is Danny White with less success

Obscure QB from no where getting his shot and doing pretty damn good......but really nothing more than White when he replaced Staubach. I like the guy-no better options right now but it just has that feeling.....not the John Elway feeling either

Danny White had a running game, an OL, and a defense that could actually stop an offense.....

Crap here we go.....

He also went to 3 SB's. He had 3 great games in the AFC Championship Games. Most people still considered him a Hall of Famer even before he won a SB.

Romo isn't Danny White... Danny White got his teams deep into the playoffs and a Superbowl.

Danny White handed the ball off to Tony Dorsett and had a defense with White, Jones, Martin, Waters, DD Lewis, Thurman, Walls, Downs, Bruenig etc.

Funny that Danny White is brought up.

Today (Jan 1) White describes in the Dallas Morning News how great Romo is.

He also does the right thing by not excusing for the three picks. he said he broke down every play this year. He says that 10 of the first 16 picks had some sort of breakdown...but six were all on Tony. He then said all three were on Tony in the Skins game. The blitzing got the better of him and thr WR could not beat man coverage. In the end, Dez was out and Miles was useless, but still, the pick was a bad choice.

White said today that he doubted Dallas would have won more than 3 games without Romo this year.

So you're saying we don't have any other pieces if the team????????

Our D was helpless because of injuries....but other years we had the pieces

I think one season we had a team that could maybe do some damage---that was the fast fading team in 2007.

If Danny White didn't lead the Cowboys back in the 1978 playoff game with Atlanta, the Cowboys never would have made SB Xlll. So while Danny never led the team to a SB, he certainly helped us get there.
